Honeymoon In Japan!

It's official! Bill and I just booked our Honeymoon to Japan! We'll be gone for a total of 13 days!

We start off in Tokyo and make the rounds. We will be visiting Matsumoto, Takayama, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kurashiki and Osaka. Thank God we're taking a tour, because I think I would be lost.

We can participate in lot's of neat stuff with the tour. A calligraphy class. A cooking class. Kimono painting. Hopefully we can squeeze in a Dream (UFC Japan) fight for Bill.

I'm so excited. Nervous. Curious. OMG!

So, if anyone has anything to recommend, etc, stores, shops, places of interest, places to eat, things to see, things to do - please don't hesitate to share your ideas.

Oh, so happy for you. Sounds great. I have always wanted to visit Japan. Between the crafting, fabric, and food, it still remains on my "Must See" list. One of my best friends lived and taught English there for three years. She taught herself Japanese while there and knows a lot about it...but that's going back at least ten years...I'll ask her, though and pass on any 411. Such great news! I'll expect lots of photos when you return!

I love you all! Thank you so much for your kind words and wishes!

I've been getting mixed reactions about this choice. People ask me - why I'm not going to an island resort? I'm so not a beach person - I'd burn and get headaches if I layed on the beach all day.

I'm so looking foward to this adventure, and if we don't do it on our honeymoon - who know's when we'd go!!!

Emilie - any info would be great!!

HUGS!
xoxo

Oh Renee:
Everyone is going to offer their thoughts, and you just have to go and do what you and your fiance want and feel is best!! My husband and I went to New York for our honeymoon ... mostly because we couldn't agree on any other place :P He was not up for traveling overseas, and I was not up for a resort. Plus, both of us had never been and always wanted to go to New York. I can honestly say it was quite a culture shock for us, and was not probably the most relaxing place we could have went as the first couple of days were quite nerve racking. However, we have such great memories ... including Brent getting a $60 fine for hopping the turn style?? in the subway (post yankees game) when I got through with our metro card and he didn't. Talk about a crowd to go against!!! And us not wanting to lose each other!!
Japan will be a blast!!!

Renee! how wonderful is that??? So happy for you, what a thrill. I would get whatever input you can from various sources, definitely. I'll let you know if I have any too~
How LOVING that your darling guy would be so agreeable. I can hear my husband now... what? japan? Huh?
Of course 15 years later, lol, he'd say, "and I suppose I need to book the flight to Japan?" hee hee.
We will be sooooooo excited to hear of your adventure. You need to practice now, though. Repeat after me, "Bill first, bunkas second." Say with feeling, and repeat daily. LOL

P.S. that is hilarious Jana!!!

Jana - that's so funny! But I'm sure you have wonderful memories. We've always driven to Yankee games and paid a gazillion dollars to park! LOL

Annette - Bill is sooo supportive of my dollies - that's why I love him! I may have to buy an extra suitcase once I'm their - since we're on a tour - we're ONLY allowed once case each and one carry on each! NOT GOOD!

Emi -

OMG! Thank you so much. I am looking foward to tomorrow night when I can lounge and check out each and every one of those links, i will send you an email too ---- thanking you tremendously!
