Iit's been a while since I made anything because of my broken finger. But I just found out on Friday that the bone is completely healed. I just have to wait about 4 more months for the nerves to get better and for the tingling sensation to go away.
Please say hello to my Pretty Bunka Gal. She's still awaiting a name.
Since these dollies are so hard to get my hands on, and I love them so so so much, I decided to make my own.
Now, of course she's a little different than the traditional bunka, but I love her just the same.
A little bit of felt, stuffing, and some vintage lace! (c;

that's gorgeous and her eyes are so pretty. I need more time to make stuff!
Thank you! Me too - I squeezed her in my schedule last night before I went to bed! (c;
Hey Renee,
My name is Jana. I am kind of a newbie pose doll collector, and I have admired your dolls and creations for a while now, so I thought I would say hello!! I can't believe all the amazing finds your mom runs into!! I am starting to think I live in the wrong state :P (Actually, I have always believed I live in the wrong state, but I haven't made my brake yet!)
Also, I had to laugh when I while back you wrote something about trying to buy as much as you can now cause you are getting married!! LOL!! It totally does not make sense, but I think it is a grand idea!! I just got married last year, and I a lot of heck from my husband when I buy dolls now.
Later!
Jana
P.S. Oh ... Congrats!!
Jana - Thanks so much for your note! Even though I live in NY, most of my mother's finds come from flea markets in NJ.
Welcome to the club! (c;
